Hey there. I'm Erin (she/her)

Teacher (BMus, BEd), Childbirth Educator, Certified Birth Doula (DONA), Mother of Three.

​What draws me to birth work?

​

I love birth. I always have. I attended my first birth when I was 15 years old. From then on, I was obsessed with the whole experience and couldn't wait to be able to experience it for myself.​ So I made the decision to become a doula, and it's been one of the best things I have ever done! I am a recent graduate of the University of Alberta, with my degree in education. 

​

I am a mama to three wonderful kiddos who are the reason I do everything. 

​

I am a Certified Birth Doula with DONA International and a former Birthing From Within Doula & Educator and have attended the Spinning Babies® Workshop. I am a proud member of the Doula Association of Edmonton (DAE), as well as the Association for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth (ASAC).

"My husband and I went into the birth preparation course not knowing what to expect (we imagined it would be something like what you see in the movies and we were a little nervous going into it). But it was SO MUCH BETTER! I loved how sweet and supportive Kayla and Erin were. The day went by so fast! They went over so many great exercises to help us understand what 'real labour' may be like. They showed us lots of great pain management practices, and positions to help during labour, on top of a lot of other great topics they covered. My husband was hesitant to attend at first, but we both left feeling EMPOWERED, confident and ready to take on what lies ahead!! Kayla and Erin are very helpful in answering any questions, and they make everyone feel welcome! We both highly recommend this course to anyone! Thanks ladies!"
