1-Day Birth Prep Workshop
find your birth warrior
What's your learning style?
Based on the group's needs, a varying menu of topics will be explored through hands-on practice, story-telling, movement, discussion, and evidence-based instruction. Additionally, pre-recorded video modules will be provided for you to digest at your own pace prior to the workshop. The majority of our in-person time together is centered on building a pain-coping and surrender mindset, normalizing the process, promoting empowerment, and reducing fear.
What makes us different from other prenatal classes?
This isn’t your average prenatal class! Rather than a teacher-student classroom approach, our workshop offers an interactive, connective, and hands-on experience while still giving you everything you need to know. Before our in-person session, you’ll receive pre-recorded video modules to watch at home so our group time together can focus on meaningful discussion, engagement, and hands-on practice.
Through compassionate and honest preparation, we’ll guide you through what to expect in labour and birth while teaching practical tools and exercises to help both the birthing person and birth partner cope with the intensity of labour. This workshop is for all birth plans - because no matter how you hope to give birth, unexpected things can arise, and we want you to feel prepared to pivot with confidence.
Experience an intimate and safe group space where you can dive inward to discover what it means to “birth from within.”
Giving birth, supporting your partner through this shared experience, and becoming a parent is a big deal! Join our upcoming workshop and see why our class is different.
This workshop is NOT for you if you are:
-
seeking a teacher - student classroom approach
-
interested in passive learning (these classes are engaging and interactive)
-
wanting to be told how you should give birth by an authority figure
-
uncomfortable with inclusive language and an inclusive group setting (ALL are welcome in this group)
-
not willing to challenge or reflect on ANY of your beliefs about childbirth

How does this series differ from the Foundations Birth Prep Video Series?
Our 1-Day Birth Prep Workshop combines the foundations video modules with an immersive, in-person experience designed for deeper connection, hands-on learning, guided discussion, and real-time support. In addition to this foundational video module series, you’ll spend the day alongside other growing families practicing comfort measures, movement, partner support techniques, birth positions, advocacy tools, and having space to ask questions and process fears or uncertainties in a supportive environment.
The Foundations Birth Prep Video Series is a self-paced online option created for families who want grounded, evidence-informed birth education from the comfort of home. It includes the core educational content from our workshop in a flexible format that you can revisit anytime. While it doesn’t include the in-person group experience or hands-on practice components, it offers a beautiful foundation for approaching birth feeling informed, calmer, and more confident. Video content is approximately 3 hours.
